All things considered, this piece didn't take much longer than my average time to complete a picture, which is six to seven hours. The thinking behind the faces coming out of his body is that Clayface's body unconsciously reacts to his emotional state, which is pretty damn unstable! Thus, bits of his fractured psyche will burst out randomly from anywhere on his body! Cool huh?
