The lighting is beautiful and you can't help wondering where the pathes lead. I love how there's the staircase just visable behind the trees. It's a really well captured image, and the lighting is really really wonderful.

thank you very much, i actually live just opposite this place and in certain light its one of the most beautiful places to go, most of my shots of dirt and hills n views of edinburgh are all taken on this hill (this photo is of the base of it)

yeah, a few too many people for my liking when you're walkin around there but then again i love living in a busy city so can't exactly expect to live in a big city and there not to be lots of people

nice mood and all but you are missing too much of the detail in the dark parts of the scene.
It is not a silluette which would have been nice but pain, cause you got details in there. You just have to push your gray levels a bit to the brighter end to let us see more clearly the path and the trees and everything. Not brighten the whole thing cause you will lose your mood. That will benefit your image a whole lot i think

Reminds me of childhood fears. Camping in the woods was always kind of scary after the sun went down. Nice shot.

yeah camping can be terrifying as a child, mainly the noises that you don't know what they are, or at least thats wat always scared me, and it wasn't helped by my insanely overactive imagination
