Seriously tho, I can't imagine the complexity that must've occurred during that time when Poland was split between 2 invading countries that saw the Poles as worthless and became enemies to each other in the end...
What was a Pole to do...who was he to serve...?

Indeed, the Polish who actually did was right were the ones who were in the local underground resistance and the one who were exiled to England, the Poles serving in Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union were pretty much forced against their own will, even like that the Nazis were mass murdering the Poles since they are SlavicΒ and could easily associate the Russians. The Poles in Exile living in the United Kingdom had a better lifestyle but I still felt bad how these people pretty much fought for nothing, because Poland falls under the Soviet Union and becomes part of the Warsaw PactΒ
