I think we have met. Did you go to the Pungo event last year?
And what is the full immersion event?

'Fraid not. My first event was Sully Plantation last year.
We're fighting the French at Enfield. You can track the event here: www.facebook.com/pages/Events-β¦ (second post)

Sully Plantation, sounds familiar. Is that we go for "training"?

Yea, I remember you. I was the guy who was standing over Connor when he hurt his ankle last summer at Enfield.

Aw! Ja then! Woah, fancy finding you here on DA. You've got some great technical drawings in your gallery. I can never seem to get mechanical proportions right. It uses a totally different side of the brain. I only ever attempted drawing a plane once, a Spitfire, here: fyuvix.deviantart.com/art/Spitβ¦
I've drawn guns and weapons, and they get the gist of the shape, but I'm just not a technical artists, and sometimes that bugs me. I wish I could get the proportions and details as accurately as some of these WWII artists seem to do. But alas. Different strokes for different folks, I reckon, ja?

Yea, I know that feeling when you draw the outline of it and you feel like something is the wrong size, then you start over. And then the same problem happens again. Then you have a OCD attack. XD I do like the Spitfire though, look's like a Mk. IX to me. But the details are in fact the hardest part I think because some shapes just do not want to cooperate with ya. Like the exhaust on a plane, can never get those right. The tracks of a tank, can't do those. It just takes time really; you eventually get details/porportions as close as you can right and say "screw it" and post it. XD And we are good at different things. I can't draw people for shit. Example: I tried to draw a circle for the head...........came out as a square.Β
