What's ochre? Everything is so beautiful! I love that vine climbing up the wall in the background.

Thanks so much! Ja, ochre is a sort of sediment, actually. It's like the reddish clay looking stuff that people dig up. They seperate it from the sand, as ochre's really really fine, and then they take the ochre, bake it into bricks, and use it for paint pigments and all kinds of crazy stuff

I'm a little 'rusty' with my French (bad pun), but it seems odd to name a place Red village; but hey I live near Ware (pronounced "Where").
That central gutter is a really interesting landscape feature; and the stones in the arch have many lovely colors in the grain of the stone. I do very much like this shot.

Oh, this is a cool one! I love all those old European towns that were built before cars were invented, so the streets are all winding around and there are zillions of back alleys going everywhere... *happy sigh*
