So my good friend and online husband (as my real life husband Vanguard83 calls him) mikeboxer2 and I present our latest piece, "Down but not out". When I first saw this sketch I thought Mike was going easy on me after the last two works we posted....and I couldn't have been more wrong. As simple as the picture may seem there was a lot of work involved in getting the shoulder, arm and hand positions just right, and even now the position of the glove isn't quite perfect but it's as close as it's ever going to get (I worked for a couple of hours on it). The other time consuming part of this picture is that I am down in the corner which meant building onto my hay bale ring. I did try something new with the tape on the gloves to give them a little more genuine look rather then just the plain solid black or white. Hope you are still enjoying this "dance" between mikeboxer2 and I as much as we are.
