I remember that scene, my favorite scene.
Just when Raph had Leo pinned down for the final strike he stops, seeing Leo below him vulnerable like that, he realized that he had gone to far.
Seeing the look in Leo's eyes made him realize if Raph had not controlled himself he would've killed his own brother, his own flesh and blood. Raph wanting to go on his own, that wasn't what he really wanted, what he wanted was to have Leo see that he can be just as responsible, and he knew that if he killed Leo, that wouldn't make him a leader, that would only be murdering and a loss of honor.
Even though both Leo and Raph butt heads a lot even to the point of duking it out on each other, Raph can never, ever, EVER, strike his own brother, he just can't.
'Cause love stops him.

Cool pics! The fighting part in the movie was one one of my fave parts, aside from the breakfast scene. The way Leo and Raph kept looking at each other like that.
