Description
.....personal log 2345.3:
This shot was taken by an unmanned probe in the Calandras-sector, near Hel 57, in a pretty remote part of the universe...
The alien race who built the station call themselves the Descendants. Apart from their name, we don't know much about them, but they seem to try to repair on of the giant spheres.
These spheres, which are spread throughout the known universe are quite a mistery. They are about 2500 miles in diameter, made of an unknown, metal-like material and according to the scientists, at least two million years old. Some of them even believe that they are older than the universe. Unfortunately, we know nothing about their pourpose, or who build them.
But, there have been disturbing rumors about some spheres recently shown some activity...
....
Res is 1200 x 900 / Originally created as a poster (9000 x 6750 pix), unfortunately it looses much
detail in this small size.

Beautiful work. The spiraling creatures contrast nicely against the dark background. Well done.

Wow that is weird
Its even better with the story, tho the universe is far older than 2 million years
What's on your mind that you are not revealing in the story?? Whats their purpose??

Wow. The sky is awesome, the colors set each other of perfectly. The space station kinda reminded me of the Death Star in Return Of The Jedi. The description is also amaziong, it's nice to have a story behind a piece. Well done.
