lemme explain this. this is an illustration from The Divine Comedy, which was written in the 14th century by Dante Alighieri. No, i didn't draw this. You're clearly someone who believes in satan as something both real and powerful and blah blah blah. That's cool, whatever, do whatever you want. Here's some advice for the internet, though. Don't be a dick about things you don't like. Frankly this deviation is already the bane of my dA life, I've gotten like a billion comments and likes on this compared to everything else I've done but I keep it up because I think most of the comments on it are actually quite interesting. Yours is the stupidest comment I think I have ever seen on anything, ever.
If you actually feel strongly for something like this, you should do some research on it! If you don't know this illustration, or worse if you don't know the Divine Comedy, then... come on, you're obviously not actually very interested in what you're pretending to be, you're just taking like one or two things from it and extrapolating it into something completely stupid. Come on.

I know of the Divine Comedy, and I know it's incredibly moronic... a cruel irony. I didn't know this illustration was from that, and I didn't know anything about your other art considering I can't check peoples' galleries... since my internet likes to crash when clicking on peoples' deviantART pages.
I'm sorry that you don't think somebody would be offended by this, but it happens.
It doesn't make me "stupid" to stand up for someone I think of as a kind and loving friend, and I am certainly not "pretending to be" anything; I am a Satanist through and through, and have been for all of my past lives.

Why do you think it's moronic? What's stupid here isn't that you got offended and it isn't that you didn't know the illustration, although that's a pretty huge oversight in my opinion as it's one of the most seminal pieces of art about satan, what's stupid is that you think that "standing up to someone" in this case would be best served by posting something passive-aggressive and easy to verify on your own.
I know plenty about both main kinds of satanism myself, and I'm pretty sure satan doesn't need you to stand up for him.
