Tiresias is a little gorgon NPC. years ago he accidentally angered a powerful fae and was cursed for it. he's completely blind and all his other senses are fairly impaired, instead he sees, hears, feels, etc all the things that the main antagonist does. it's all pretty traumatizing for him, and it only became worse when she [the antagonist] found out and decided to lock him up to avoid anybody using him as a spy. killing him would be inadvisable, because doing so could anger the fae that's trying to make him suffer. by this point he's pretty seriously messed up both by the curse and the isolation of his imprisonment. he actually isn't treated too poorly, other than the lack of social interaction and space, he's not an actual danger to her on his own, he's only a threat if he falls into the wrong hands.
