so, i was watching this video on Isekai anime and how it would be cool if one was set in a tabletop rpg setting, and i came up with this idea for a story.

so, a group of friends is having a session of DnD or something similar, and right when their characters are about to enter a gateway to another realm they suddenly appear in the game as their characters. the DM was also dragged into the game, but as she didn't have a character and was basically the creator and master of the fantasy world, she's basically stuck being used as a kind of battery to keep the world running. the party managed to figure this out through hints she snuck into their environment, and are now on a quest to rescue her and go home before she gets too worn down to continue and the world around them crumbles.
