hit random deviation, and came to this. Congratulations, its very well done. do you aspire to be an animator of sorts later?

I like the body and leg movement the most. That little bit of standing has both follow-through from stopping the spin and anticipation of the next spin, I am impressed.

For improvement, you might try pausing the last couple of frames before the spin for a bit longer time and maybe extending the left arm more (to show even more anticipation). Also the follow-through of the head tilt on the tips of the ears is done in the wrong direction (good follow-through but the tips are leading the motion instead of following it)... the same goes for the spikes of hair on the head. For the spin, I would suggest lifting the heal of the right foot a little and raising the character a hint too.

Enjoyable to watch!

I appreciate that you want to give some tips, but this -is- a very old animation that I won't be doing any work on, heheh. The things with the follow-thru is just because the starts and end points of the cycle didn't match up very well, and I had to do a quick fix. I've seen worse mistakes in TV animation. Do you animate yourself? Thank you never the less.

I have done lots of effects animation and a bit of character animation. I want to get back into doing animation again. I am the kind of person who can find dozens or even hundreds of technical errors in animated movies (that is good ones worth looking at) and do so then figure out what caused the problems and figure out solutions. I was looking for animations and saw your wiggling cat nose icon (which I love) in your responce to an animation of someone else's and had to check out your site for animations. It was only after posting that I noticed the date on it. I should start animating again in the next few weeks or at least scanning and posting some of my old stuff (I had over an hour of stuff but lost some boxes of animations in a move)

Awesome animation

Although a little more follow-through and anticipation with the arm movements would make it seem more natural.

Mmm, yeah, I'd animate the tail smoother. I tried what you said with the arms, but I don't think I added enough frames.

AWESOOOME!! You are stupidly talented, I will never ever be skilled enough animate something like a flawless 360 turn in a character.
One tiny suggestions: Maybe he could bend his knee slightly before he pushes off on his leg for the spin.

Yeah, maybe. I was originally planning to put this to music, so that would've been hard to fit in I think. It didn't end up being very rythmic, though, so I just dropped that.

No I didn't, but now I did... Super nice. Still the blue line are great and I like the little dance, cool.
I was going to get into the animation field, but some where down the road I just kept drawing and stop animating. oh-well... long story.

Anyhow- nice work! "fav" ya!

You clicked it and viewed it as an animation, right? Did you mean "keep animating"?
