Features and InspirationsQuick personal update:
This year it has been tricky for me to find the time and inspiration for art, plus I have been rocking back and forth between what I want my work to look like going forward. However, though my art has been sluggish at best, I have made progress on my health. Last year I couldn't draw for more than 30 mins at a time, so the fact that I can spend a few hours without ill-effects is miraculous. (if you're curious, I spent my severely-handicapped time last year making small watercolors of birds, as evidenced by the large amount of them in my gallery. It was one of the only things I could manage with my tendonitis - if anyone else has or is struggling with this, reach out, you're not alone.) Now I'm struggling to work on art while working full time over the summer, meh.
I thought I might dip into my favorites folders and dig up things to inspire me. Here are some features from those folders, I hope you enjoy!!

Thank you!

i guess i meant the painting itself is like a neruda poem. i didnt have a specific poem in mind when looking at it, but it made me recall how i felt when i read neruda. if i had to choose a poem i suppose it would be "Rain (Rapa Nui)" or "Here I Love You"
