  Dogwalks I - The Pyramid 

Many photos in my gallery are finds during long walks with our dog through my hometown. They are details of objects I learnd to see in different times, different light, different seasons. Even after years I can find new details I havn't seen before, although they have been there all the times. Also the objects itself change through the years, simply getting older, are overpainted and tagged, are damaged or even destroyed.Therefore I found it interesting to collect the different aspects of these objects in a journal.
So let's start with #1: The Pyramid

Ich denke, das liegt daran, dass die Kommunikation hier auf dA traditionell auf wechselseitige Kommentare aufgebaut ist. Nur über Journale und den Status update ergibt sich eine weiter gerichtete Meinungsverbreitung. Und so ist es etwas vom Zufall abhängig, was man mitbekommt.
Aber abgesehen davon ist es schon erschreckend, wie schnell die Lehren der Vergangenheit  in Vergessenheit geraten. "Die schlimmsten Konflikte der Geschichte wurden immer von Anführern verursacht, die zu selbstgewiss waren, sich zu schnell getränkt  fühlten, zu impulsiv handelte , ohne die Folgen für andere und das große Ganze zu bedenken." (Kommentar im ZDF - kann man nicht treffender formulieren).

Vielen Dank mein Freund!  I was actually thinking about you the other day, when we went to see the film "Paterson", which is about a) a bus driver named Paterson; b) the town of Paterson, New Jersey (right next to where I grew up); and c) the poems of William Carlos Williams (who wrote an epic poem entitled "Paterson"). Wonderful film, but what it really is about is finding poetry in mundane, everyday things. Which made me think of you
