They have patted feet on the bottom which keeps them from sinking in the sand and keeps their feet from getting burned in the sand. Camels also have 2 rows of eyelashes that helps keep the sand out of their eyes. And they can close the nostrils to keep sand out of their noses. Camels eat leaves, shrubs, and grass, and they have water in them, cause deserts don't have much water. Camels have a hump that stores their food and water for extra energy. Some camels have only 1 hump, others have 2 humps.
