Description cloisonne - opague grey glass on copper with twisted gold wire - 22.5 mm (seven eighths of an inch).

I had twisted a small bit of gold wire with thoughts of making a ring. I realized it was too thin & put it aside. Some time later, I impulsively fired it on a sample & inlaid it on a mahogany box I had previously made from scrap wood ends.

It's got a yin yang quality to it to which I have done something a bit similar. I like this! It's simplistic in design, soft and flowing. Nice!

Very nice! I like the way that the gold wire looks as if it is sinking in to the enamel, it gives it a lovely soft look.
