This is a plaque I did this last August (for no particular reason, except that I loved wiener dogs) based on an old pedigogical (sp?) drawing by Ken Hultgren. I don't add it to my gallery because it's based on his work. I couldn't recreate the shading & random flow-lines, so this is really a simplification but the outline is still his. I enter this for other enamelists to see my approach.

cloisonne enamel fired concave on copper - the dog was filled using dry enamel & a wet paint brush; the background enamel was applied as a paste with a palet knife.
