First personal painting of 2013! Happy new year everybody.I have a couple of personal paintings that I look forward to finish as soon as possible. But for the moment I'm a bit busy with client work. Managed to get this painting done though! So I hope you like it. It feels very Halo, I know. Nothing that I intended, just wanted to paint some massive "alien" building
Some dudes going to check out somekind of structure on a different planet or something

Whoa, this is good stuff ! This is very skillfully painted.
I love how the rough landscape leads up to the massive spire towering over the people.
The sharp lines on the structure are very appealing to the eye. Might I ask how long it took you to paint this?

I am not entirely sure how long it took me. But I'd estimate somewhere between 10-15h.. Maybe a little more, but somewhere around that.
