Hey!So I finally finished my Robocop piece. Been working on this on and off for a couple of weeks now. Glad to finally call it done.
Initally this was just going to be some suit design thingy. But I ended up adding the mouth early on and I just had to go with it. I love the original design of officer Alex Murphy. The design they've made for the new Robocop movie doesn't appeal to me at all. It just doesn't look like Robocop!! The old design is hard to top, but if I were to "redesign" it in some way this is how I'd do it!

Ooo, very nice adaptation of RoboCop! I like it way better than that CondomCop design they have for the new movie, I especially like the gun you've done, a sleek version of the Auto-9

Yeah, that's another name that's been passing around the RoboCop Archive forum, RoboGimp! We also got an idea behind the bare hand at ComiCon..... it's so he can have human contact with people, eg shake their hand!

Emanpris is right, they should use you painting as base for the redesign for the reboot that they are making. Hell if they should use it if they are that lazy. I hope you do more redesign's in the further.

I already did...it is awful, why the hell did they have go with that design. It looks too much like the Dark Knight and Iron Man suits. I really hate the design of the helmet. What in the asinine hell, they are other concept arts of the Robocop that looks better then that one! Hollywood always seems to find some way to ruin all of our classic movies that we grew up with. DX

It wouldn't be as bad if they had added some metal parts to it, just to break up the monotony of it. ....But at least ED-209 is looking good.
For me, I'm a big movie fan it's were I get my ideas for my drawings from. But nowadays movies are not as good like they used to be. There are only a few movies that like from 2011-2012. I feel like they are relying too much on CGI for special effects and not using some of the old school special effects. Which have become an dying work of art.

Well, I personally think that this version would do better in the official remake of robocop... Some designs shouldn't simply be changed, they are cool the way they are... In the thundercats new series, the bad guys' designs were practically the same, with a few little tunes here and there...
