Okay fans, I know many of you have been wondering why I haven't done any new stories or artworks lately, well there's a good reason for that. I am working on a project that will hopefully be completed by July 27th 2017. It's a purely fan-made animated crossover movie entitled 'Twilight Sparkle & the Island of Sodor'. That's right, you're reading this correctly, I'm going to be making an animated movie with Thomas & Friends and My Little Pony. And before any of you ask, no there will be no relationship between Thomas and Twilight, it'll be purely a friendship between the duo.

Info: Twilight Sparkle gets invited to an end of the school year party at Canterlot High, but before she can reach the high school, a mysterious foe uses magic to bring her to the Island of Sodor, a world where trains live and work in harmony. Now seperated from her friends, Twilight must team up with the world's favourite No 1 Blue Tank Engine to find the answers and to find a way home. But will Thomas' help be enough, and will the duo discover why Twilight was brought to Sodor? All these answers and more will be revealed.

Now onto properly the most common question, where did the inspiration come from for Twilight Sparkle & the Island of Sodor? Well it came after listening to the Adventure Begin's song; Really Useful Engine for the...I can't remember, maybe hundredth time. While listening to the song, I imagined Twilight and her friends on a stage performing to the citizens of Ponyville, and they were singing along to the song 'Really Useful Engine'. Afterwords, it got me thinking of how they could've learned the song and the idea popped into my head. However, there was a problem, a pony on a world with humans, it didn't make much sense to me, but then I remembered 'Equestria Girls' the movie and how Twilight became human, and so from there, I worked away on making a script. I began in early March 2015 after seeing the 'Adventure Begins' and currently, on April 3rd 2015, the script is 90% complete, with only the ending to be completed.
I'm sure though that there are a few of you wanting to ask, why didn't you write this as a novel to post on Fanfiction.net? Well I could've, but I was in no mood to write another fanfiction novel at the moment. Besides, I have two in the works right now awaiting completion. Plus, I've been wanting to make an animated movie since 2007, but of course, back then I didn't have the patience that I have nowadays.
Now onto the poster, the image of Thomas is the same image I've been using for the fan-made Take-N-Play pictures I've been posting since February. Twilight in human form was drawn up in late March, and in fact, I had recently shown you the picture of Twilight in Human form less than a couple weeks ago. The red eyes in the background belong to the main villian of the story, who shall remain nameless until much later on. Speaking of the villian, he'll actually be playing that role. Why you might be asking? Well why not? In the past, I've played the role of engines, crew members and even fan-made human characters I've created for fan-made productions, but never before have I played a villian, so it'd make quite an interesting change. I would like to tell you more, but I don't want to reveal anything of his past or the plot of the movie.
Goodness knows when the first trailer will be posted, but I am hopeful that this movie will be completed within the next two years before July 27th 2017. If however it can't be completed by that date, I'll postpone it until November 27th 2017. There's alot of work ahead, but it does mean being able to do something I've been wanting to do for a few years now, and who knows, if this one proves successful, I may do another fan-made animated film in the future, time will only tell. In the meantime, I hope you will enjoy this poster and please note that I will update you on future progress of the fan-made movie soon.
