Description
This is Hiro, the Visiting Japanese Steam Engine with a big '51' on the side of his tender. He was part of the early North Western Railway, but then was left in a siding to wait for new parts, which never came. He was left in a siding for many years until Thomas found him by accident when he lost his brakes going down hill. After that, Hiro was given an overhaul and came out of the Steamworks looking like a brand new engine. Hiro was first introduced in the 'Hero of the Rails' movie in 2009.
