Sesame Street is a show that I, and many other people adore. It's educated and entertained many kids and families for generations, with its lovable characters, ear-wormy music and inviting nature. But when exactly did they do their best work? That's exactly what I plan to figure out in this new series I'm working on. Inspired by The Unlucky Tug's "Thomas Retrospective" and ToughPigs' "50 in 50" comes...

"The Sesame Street Retrospective!!!"

In which I will be taking a look at every Sesame Street season chronologically all the way up to season 55, which will no doubt be finished airing when I eventually get to it. And I'll discuss what lessons each season taught, which characters and segments debuted, and the impact each of them had. It's a hard endeavor, and it may take me three years at thee very least, but I'm willing to try it out and see how far I get. This series will be on my blog, but I'll provide a journal for all the installments I release and update it accordingly over time.

Naturally, the first installment will be about Season 1, and I'm getting close to finishing that, so keep an eye out for it.
