50 years ago, on this very day, in 1969, the world was introduced to Sesame Street, and it would never be the same again.

Now, I don’t think I need to explain how much I love this show, or how important it is, because I’ve already done so, numerous times. And since I have quite a few other birthdays I still need to make up, I realized I couldn’t do something big, at least not now.

So, I decided to come up with something simple, and this was this simple thing I chose: I decided to draw Jimmy, and the SS muppets that have their zodiac signs revealed as said in Sesame Street Unpaved, (Which is currently one of the greatest books I own.) holding their signs up for all to see.

By the way, if you can’t tell which sign is which:

Big Bird and Kermit (Pisces)
Ernie, Elmo and Jimmy (Aquarius)
Bert, Snuffy and Prairie Dawn (Leo)
Grover, The Count, Telly and Zoe (Libra)
Cookie Monster (Scorpio)
Guy Smiley (Cancer)
Herry (Virgo)
And Oscar (Gemini)

And also, yes, Jimmy is an Aquarius, because he likes to do things his own way, and tends to mess things up sometimes.

With all that being said, I hope you enjoy this picture, and Happy Sesame Street Day!

Also, one last little detail, I wanted to show Cookie Monster physically eating his sign, but that proved to be to difficult, so I just had him hold the sign, with bite marks to show he did chew some of it.
