A recent conversation with reminded me that the reason I began learning 3D art in the first place was to tell Gingers story. While most of my works are driven by muse and whim and tend to be largely unfocused, All American Girl was originally conceived as a series of roughly nine novels, some of them in parallel, the story outline, notes and a fair volume of the first draft exist, but as time passed I began to realize that I wasn't the Great American Novelist nor was I ever going to be, I needed a visual element. Discovering 3D art, specifically the wonderful web comic TMI tmi.ink/comic/out-of-the-nest/ by the amazing made me realize that I had found the vehicle for my stories. (If you don't read TMI then you need too! Andy isn't very active on DA, but his gallery is worth a watch too!) I spent a bit over a year, playing with Daz and Poser, creating characters and a visual feel before I was ready to get things rolling.

There are two chapters finished, at first as individual pages then gathered in .pdf



, I am pleased with them, though there are a few typos and such that seem to defy editing. But I stumbled, there were/are props I want for Chapter 3 but do not have the skill to create, so I delayed starting it, but I now realize that at some point, "You gotta dance with the one who brung ya!" so getting back to Gingers story is overdue. I will move on with the props I have, 'cause her story needs to be told. In the next few weeks I should be dropping new pages in the gallery.
