Description
So I wanted Battlegirl to wear the iconic wing symbol. As depicted in Greek art, it was simple and crude, usually made of bits of stamped metal carried by travelers. Hermes often gave them as gifts to fellow travelers on the road and they granted the bearer the ability to travel with the winds as he did. In Golden Age DC Comics Wonder Woman first debuted wearing sandles gifted by Hermes. She could run on water and for brief distances she could even run through through the sky. I like that, and Cori is going to have that, in the form of the classic Greek icons.About 15-20 minutes in Hexagon and I had a simple working 180-ish poly prop in Daz. I have been testing ways to use it, I really like the crude and simple prop, so far I have only used an "Old Gold" Iray shader but it rocks it, it is properly UV mapped so I could apply any shader I wanted. Anyway, she will have them on her costume somewhere, just 'cause I want them! Maybe the ankles or like ear rings or on her glasses or goggles or, or, or somewhere!
I am growing ever unhappier with the helmet/mask, and not just for the eyelash thing. With the Clan coming out, I have decided that Cori will unmask with the Amazons, but she still needs a cutesy hook, maybe glasses or goggles or something. . .
BUT, if she's gonna spend a lot of time out of her mask in close up, then the eyebrows gotta be fixed, her normal hair color is a light caramel brown (I was playing with hair color here) and her eyebrows are just way too dark, maybe I need some of Nathanomir 's skin blending voodoo magic to fix it.
Hexagon 2.5.2 ---> Daz 4.10 Iray ---> GIMP 2.8.18 ---> Comic Life 3.5.6

Very cute! And as always I like the call-outs to classical mythology.

Oh, man. Yeah. I see that eyelash collision. If she is going to continue wearing the mask, the best thing to do is export it to Hexagon, remove the part just below her eyes, and then import it back. New material zones won't fix that in DAZ.

Hexagon is being a butt today, the bridge is broken since a crash a few days ago, I probably need to restart my PC but too many other things going on at the moment with other programs.

Only today? Your version must be a bit newer than mine. Mine qualifies for permanent ass status. Man, Hexagon 3 can't arrive fast enough.

I hope it does arrive, but we've been waiting a long time.

It appears that the DAZ crew is starting to take themselves seriously as software developers. First dForce, and now some much needed overhauling to Hexagon. About dang time! We can hope Studio 5 is a real humdinger, and not in an AWK way.

I would love to see Hexagon integrated into Daz Studio 5.

Heh. You need two things my friend. Two things all my girls (and guys) wear.
First, get rid of those dark, painted on brows with: www.daz3d.com/brow-remover-for…
Then, replace them with FIBERMESH brows that stand off the face and can be mapped to match the hair with: www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/?n…
For your G2Fs, Laticis has a free fibermesh brow set right here on DA. Her G2M set doesn't fit too well, and she says so herself.
I like the idea of a helmet with goggles. It has an old school flyboy ... er flygirl ... look.

You gave me the right nudge, testing eyebrow replacements now. I have Eyebrows for G3F which I have seldom used, but this gave me an excuse to paint them off of the face mat in GIMP and then replace them with real ones for testing now. Thanks man!
I have an aviator cap and goggles. . . . That could be too cute, it might work!

Cool! Glad I could help.
Add-on eyebrows were probably the biggest boon to 3D ever. Most painted on brows are brown. That works for brunettes, to a point. They fail in closeups, the same way painted on pubic hair does (I use fibermesh for that, too). They totally fail for blondes and redheads, and you've seen how many of them are my leading ladies. Ultimately, you'll be glad you started using them. They can be a bit of a bitch with masks (poke through), but you can turn them off.
Aviator cap and goggles would be absolute SQUEE TIME on her!

Hmmmmm!
Edit: I might be working on a thing. It might be useful to you! Or it might suck. We'll see!
