A wallpaper I made this night, after the dinner, in about 2 hours. I first used a picture of a dead jungle, then I had the idea of wooden crosses.It's a bit inspired from the cover of the Anaal Nathrakh's album "Hell is Empty... and all the Devils are Here". Anaal Nathrakh is a English extreme Black Metal band I love so much.

Well, my favourite CD is "When Fire Rains Down from the Sky", very short but the most experimental works I think. I like "Eschaton" and "The Codex Necro" in a different way too. Their new album sounds pretty cool, but I could not listen to all the tracks for the moment.
It's just that "Hell is Empty" sounds a bit like a "Eschaton 2", with a lot of songs with the same composition (like intro-couplet-refrain-couplet-refrain-solo-refrain...). And I like when V.I.T.R.I.O.L stops screaming and sing in the refrain, but there was too many songs with that. So, it's still a great CD, but not my favourite one ^^

Very well done man, I actually found this because I looked up Anaal Nathrakh, previously I was hoping to find one of their album covers for a wallpaper so I came onto DA for a few things. Keep up the good work.
P.S: Since you're a fan of Anaal, I imagine you've heard Mickies other work eh? His stuff in Frost is exceptionally great, very 2nd wave black metal. Great stuff in his other bands Fukpig and Mistress as well.

Frost was an excellent band, very Mayhem style, (and I prefer Frost than Mayhem personnally). The atmosphere of their songs is so sick and I didn't regret to buy their album.
I listen to some Mistress songs too, it's not bad at all. But I'm not a huge fan of Grindcore, I'm more Black Metal, so...
