Contest is over! We have...no winner. D:
I still think about giving out a prize to the first one who guesses wolf. Why? Because originally our beloved draggie was going to be a wolf! Hence the old name, "Wolves Curse". Yeah, the original story just focused on the cursed dragon and some more cursed wolves, its now nearly completely different. :3
Sooo...when most people guessed "WOLF!" I started to find it boring and...not creative. XD" So I changed. But my question was: To what?
My first thought was Snowleopard! But this wouldn't fit the old fighting style of our draggie...so I changed to another favourite "species" of me: King Cheetah

BUT it's not a "real" Cheetah. She heavilier build and therefore not as fast as a normal cheetah. She can still outrun wolves, but is no match for really fast creatures.
Her fangs and claws are pretty long, her eyes got sharp little pupils and her overall appeareance is supposed to look "pointed".
That's to show some "draconic features" in her appeareance, while she lost nearly all of her magical dragon skills.

Markings and coloring? The colors are darkened and a little bit altered versions of the dragon form colors.
The black symbolizes the place of the gems and that they cracked/got removed when she met the gods.
The "tear" marking of the Cheetah also fits this pretty well, I think.

Well, that's all you need to know about her...oh, yes, many of you guys guessed it already, so let's make it official, our dragon is a female and called Sharyanath, or short, Shary (Sha-ry. Not pronounced like "cherry". c_c" ).
Another pretty old character...with an interesting creation background story. XD"
And...umn...actually the picture...was a wolf before I decided to change her species. XD" I just altered it a little bit to fit her new breed. XD"
I have some more of these wolf images, gotta add them to my next sketchdump. :3
