Description The M11 is a high mobility Quadrasteer, four-wheel drive, all-terrain utility vehicle. Under the hood is a highly powerful Hydrogen combustion engine or a HICE using the Hydrogen direct injection design to enhance performance.  This hydrogen engine is the standard among many vehicles with the Earth Colonial Federation's armed forces that are to small to hold a fusion reactor. The Ibex's engine has a range of 790 kilometers (490 miles) before it needs to be refueled, and can reach top speeds of 100 km/h on off road terrain or 144km/h on paved road. The vehicle uses high tensile stainless steal frame with Kevlar and Carbon Fiber armor plating. An active protection system is built into the vehicles sides. The glass is 30mm thick and made of silicon carbide and has protection equal to many 21st century Light utility vehicles the closest analogue would be the up-armored M1151 Humvee but instead has an empty weight of 11 tons. In 22nd century standards the Ibex is not a well protected vehicle so prolonged fire fights and urban warfare are almost entirely out of the question. The Strike Force Marines however are clad in advanced power armor and often just use the vehicle as a A to B transport with heavy fire power. The Ibex's 37-inch tires are a burst-proof unit of carbon fiber tubes forming a large ring. They provide the buoyancy and ride comfort of air filled tires, but are almost indestructible to high heat, bullets and shrapnel. Ibex vehicles are designed to travel both on and off-road, in all weather conditions often performing scouting operations. With a ride height of nearly 2 meters it is more than able to hold 4 fully armed and armored Strike Force Marine super soldiers. Due to its high center of gravity a specialized suspension system was developed, the TAKi 12 suspension system by Oshkosh. With the TAK12i intelligent independent suspension system compensates and works against the vehicle's weight if the vehicles is swinging hard left the suspension will stabilize the center of gravity. Armament varies but most often a 30mm cannon on an unmanned turret, but the vehicle has enough space to carry a wide range of missile and rocket systems like the AT95, FIM109 Venom MANPAD, or the FGM-250 Dragon Slayer ATGM.

Also before you say it yeah its a Chevy Colorado ZH2 I got all my sources from the Autoblog . In all GM made a tacticool fucking vehicle. I doubt the military will ever take this thing passed the initial development prototype that GM is pushing at Arms conventions.

Oh boy, I could get into some very serious traffic violations in that thing!
Not the least because I don't have a drivers license.
