Description
EDIT :Thanks SanguineEpitaph and Kaz-D for the DD ! Always a pleasure to see my work in the middle of such a great audience
For those who ask me how i did the fire effect, i'm sorry but this is a technique i'm working on and that i may use for professional works. For the moment, i've shared this secret only with the photographers i'm used to work with, i know it's kind of selfish, but i worked a lot with the fire before i found this trick, and i'm not ready to give the secret to everybody.
EDIT 2 : This image is slightly photoshoped, the original shot is very similar to the edited version.

The fire effect will be easy: just use long stick, with some handles, set the stick on fire and put someone to walk with it. Pisses me off to see how people hide information just for the sake of money.

Now that you think you've found the technique, go ahead and show me how it goes when you try.
It's not for the sake of money, it's just one of the best techniques i've found using fire and i'm not ready to share it everybody.
You've found a way to explain what you see, i'm glad to have inspired you, and if you want to try, go ahead.
Maybe you're too accustomed to tutorials and tips... Everything doesn't work like this !

i don't think it is selfish to keep an earned technique to you and few others : D keep doing what you do 'cause this is damn fantastic. the fire's reflection is really something!

Magnificent effect, not only technically, but the shot is arrestingly intriguing. I can sort of figure out how you must have done it, but I don't doubt it was still difficult to get it all to work together.

The fire effect is very cool. No reason for you to share the technique; keep it proprietary.
This is highly deserving of the DD - very, very nice.

Wow. Fantastic lighting effect there. o.O somehow makes me think of the difficulties we have in life...they are a wall we are afraid of facing, but we need to if we want things to get better.

Well, everyone has to have their trade secrets, right?
Anyway, some things go better unexplained, mystery breeds beauty as it does fear

It's your idea and your hard work and you aren't obligated as an artist to share that with anyone. Let them figure it out on their own, earn it for themselves. There's nothing wrong with sharing creative secrets, but there's nothing wrong with keeping them, either.
Wonderful photo.

Stunning!
It's probably just me, but I would keep the photography secret. It's one thing you have over your oppostion, muahahaha.
Sorry, I'm in dire need of sleep.

I think it's a marvelous shot.
Then again, I think it's selfish to keep a secret like that, that will cease eventually to be a secret because people will start doing it. But it works for you. It's like restricting people of doing other awesome stuff also. But it's good then, it's your thing.

The edges of the firewall into the water reflection shows something completely different than the real object. What are we missing here?
BTW.: Nice pic, congrats for the DD.
