In this roleplaying campaign I've been running, there's this timeship called the Lightyear. I imagined it designed in a similar fashion to that of the Invincible, from Final Fantasy IX, but I had never attempted to draw it.
When I saw this picture, I knew nothing I can draw could hope to capture the Lightyear more perfectly than this does. It's marvelous.
S'okay if I borrow it for my game? I'll credit you for it. ^_^

Rachel (twosilverstars) directed me here, and I'm so very glad she did! I adore the colour palette you've used here, it's very relaxing, and just what I needed to see tonight. The fish is rather curious - I have a long running joke about halibut being the pure random. And a fish in the sky is also rather random. Although the eye bizarrely makes me think of Sonic the hedgehog!
Lastly, have you looked at the art of Jael? She does "perceptualistics" and I think you might rather enjoy them.
You have some beautiful work here, and I shall be returning when I can leave more coherent comments.

Heh actually yea, this was also compared to a whale, certainly shape wise. Incidently one of my favourite shoot em up series was the darius series which started late eighties, G-darius is the latest on the original playstation released in 98 i tink. All enemies are Sea creatures of some sort, So this did remind me of those games.... they had amazingly ambient soundtracks too!.
