Q. D’errr… we forgot. What’s a stethoscope again?
A. As you might remember from your Barney days, a stethoscope is that freezing cold metallic piece of crap that a doctor uses to listen to your heartbeat.

Q. Oh yeah! We remember now! Goddamn, I hate those things!
A. Yes, so do I.

Q. So what are her superpowers?
A. Stethoscope is blessed with super-human hearing abilities, as well as the ability to communicate with the creatures of the ocean (a la "Aqua-Man").

Q. OMGZ!!!1!!1 Does she have, like, fur REALZ superpowerz?!?
A. No, you dumb-shit, she doesn’t have real superpowers. She’s a nine-year-old playing make-believe.

Q. But she’s at least a good fighter and stuff, right?
A. Wrong. She’s kind of a wuss.

Q. We’ve gotta ask the obvious: what’s the giant thing sticking off the top of her head?
A. That, my friends, is the source of the Stethoscope’s super-hearing powers. It is a giant, supersonic, highly sensitive stethoscope. It’s made of foam, wire, and aluminum foil.

Q. OMG!!! Does Stethoscope fall in love with any of the Coon & Friends members without knowing their true identity, or vice versa?!?
A. No. As I said before, these kids are playing dress-up. All of the Coon & Friends know who she is. And she knows who all of them are.

Q. Even Mysterion?
A. Yes, even Mysterion.

Q. What’s with the clipboard?
A. Oh, yeah, I forgot to mention: Stethoscope isn’t an “official” member of Coon & Friends. You see, girls aren’t allowed to be official members of Coon & Friends. It’s one of the rules. Duh. But Charlie whines and complains and demands entrance enough that she is given the position of Secretary, because that’s Woman’s Work. She takes the minutes during the meetings and files their tax reports, but she isn’t allowed to go with the group on actual crime-fighting missions. Because there is NO WAY those boys are going to let some sissy girl come in and ruin their fun.

Q. …Is this whole “Stethoscope” thing just a way for you to make fun of my OC’s superhero alter-ego?
A. Specifically? No. In spirit? Yes. This is not an attack against any specific Coon & Friends superhero OC, but… Well, think of it this way: imagine all your superhero OCs are lined up in front of City Hall, right? Then I run by without any pants and moon them all. Unfortunately, since your OCs and I don’t exist in the same plane of reality, I cannot do this. Creating Charlie’s “Stethoscope” alter-ego is as close as I can get.

Q. Does this mean you hate all of us and our OCs?
A. No. It means I like to make fun of you and your OCs. But I still love you.
