As mentioned previously, this is my apple bloom plush I recently finished. For my second attempt, I am pretty happy with how she has come bout, but yet the nose still escapes me XD, however I think I have sorted the pattern (fingers crossed for my scootaloo plush). She is made from minky, is 100% hand stitched using my own pattern, and took just under 2 weeks to complete. The eyes are ironed onto cotton the glued on with fabric glue, with her bow made with a fuscia ribbon. She, along with me will be coming to BUCK, where I will hopefully be able to get a signed by Michelle Creber, and make it just that little bit more special. Stay tuned, as I am currently working on a scootaloo plush. As before I am open to commisons, and constructive critisism is welcome.Related content

I am not totally sure about the pattern you are using here, but if you try to draw the pony as she looks in the show, do that, but exaggerate it a bit. (make the nose longer/wider on the pattern than you'd see in the show) because you have to account for stuff shrinking when you sew the edges together. I'd guess the problem here is you designed the pattern with a nose too petite for the finished doll and it got eaten when you turned it right side out.Β

That's exactly what I have done to the pattern, made the nose longer, and it appears to have worked

Very cute, the big ol' eyes make her look really huggable. I agree that the nose needs a little bit of work, pony noses are so hard! Hope things go even better with your Scootaloo. :3
