Well no one know what type of dinosaur a rainbow face is and I believe it not a Troodon. they have larger eyes and a hell lot smaller then what the rainbow faces are. so I believe they something else.
Theropodas I believe they was. Troodon might be a smart dinosaur but the two rainbow faces wasn't normal dinosaurs.

I always thought they were more orthimimus.... or aliens. That was my conclusion by the time I watched the show again when I was a bit older.

Hmm, the chances of that are rather slim if you ask me.... say, as slim as the chance of the entire universe spontaneously generating itself from an ultra compressed speck of matter... and creating many millions of different forms of life or something all by accident ^_- ....wait... this is a show about talking dinosaurs. oh... ok~ anything works for talking dinosaur shows~

Ok, enough poking fun at macroevolution.
My mini theory for it is that they were aliens of some sort that used holograms or strange super-biology whatever to look like dinosaurs.
