So yeahhh I managed to get the spring event item done. I honestly had a lot more on my plate with much faster approaching deadlines but hey, I just felt like it.
It was either gonna be Wisteria flowers or Winter Globes, and uh... wisteria just sorta won. I /do/ notice that Wren seems to be around pink flowers a lot... I wonder... ¬__¬
I thought I would try a new style for this thing... but I wasn't thinking smartly and uh... victorian dresses + natures stuff are kind of too hard hit of a combo for me to pull it off.
So in the end I took an extra of at least... 3 more hours trying to salvage it. If you're wondering why the colors on Wren look so odd, like I had just slapped color over a black and white drawing, well it's because that's exactly what happened.
But I kind of like some parts of this, so I think I'll keep those parts skill wise, and sharpen it up.

OK, Dart. Now that's just friggin cool! You did a much better job then you give yourself credit for.
Great job on the fold shadows and the colors. The hair is also really detailed. I love the sweeping movement and the work on the strands. I also really like her expression for some strange reason. I think it's the eyes...
The only thing that looks a little odd at all are her fingers holding the fan. I'm not sure what it is. They seem a bit long perhaps? Or it could be the thickness of the ring finger around the knuckle. Either way, something just seems to give them a "talon-like" look.

Yeah, the hands are a tad odd aren't they? I never drew them w/o linearts before so I kind of panicked a bit... there wasn't supposed to be a fan until towards the end, I just kinda decided to put something in her hand. xD
