Righty'o, 6 days late to doing more creepy/gory/Halloween-y things for the month, possibly more months to come. I have some more things half done, something for every second day. I guess it could be like some sort of inktober, goretober, etc, that some people do.

The Beast of Gévaudan is the name of an animal that roamed around the area of Gévaudan that ruthlessly murdered women and children, was orange/black in colour, and the size of the calf. It was estimated that it killed around 210 people within the 3 years it was sighted in the area. Attacks were so frequent but far away from each other, some people thought that it as multiple of the same creature doing the damage. It was later killed by a local hunter named Jean Chaste, who killed it during an organized hunt after a man by the name of Antoine de Beauterne claimed to have killed the beast around 3 months before, but instead killed a normal wolf. It was shown off and had taxidermy done on it, before being placed in a museum. It was removed later because of the horrible stench it created, and hasn't been seen since.
It is presumed that the beast was either a very large wolf, or a hyena.
