The Painted Ratpig is named for is beautiful hide of elegant patterns and colors, and it would surely be a prized game animal if sentient life still lived in that arm of the Milky Way. Hunted by the usual suspects, the Painted Ratpig stands out from other herbivore-rats not only by eating carrion like its North American relative, but by predating itself. The Painted Ratpig is a decently versatile omnivore, hunting frogs and lizards and other small scurrying game using their sharp hooves to stomp their prey into submission.
