I am doing some custom work now and I'm trying an aged/rusty effect toward plastic and metal. It is painted and crafted with the carving of the predator symbol from AVP.Related content

The Ga-Matoran sat by the river's edge, watching the Ruki fish swim through the placid waters. On a whim, she looked upstream and saw an unusually shaped stone. Curious, she ran along the bank until she was even with the stone. She leaned over and brushed some sand away from the stone. She gasped. It wasn't a stone! It was a Mask of Strength, marked with an unusual symbol she had never seen before. Grabbing the mask by its eye, she lifted it from the water. 'Macku will never believe this!' she thought, as she began walking back to Ga-Koro. Unknown to the Matoran, the mask's owner watched from the shadows of the trees, keeping track of her every move...

cool, oh two things, one where is the avp symbol and two, why dont you try some hobby quality weathering powders to help dirty it up a bit, it will really help with the finish

Aha, well I've quit bionicle so I haven't done much with them lately. And well I sanded it down, used rust-oleum paint with black paint, and gently rubbed the black around. It took a couple of layers, but I got it done. Then I carved out the symbol by tracing it, nd gently carving it out. I would be glad to do some for u if u wish. But it'll cost a bit. Thnx for the watch btw!

I've quit on customizing pieces as selling them is blah. XP,I first sanded it down nd then I used a kitchen knife, as I had no hobby knife at the time. I used rustoleum paint combined with a black paint.

I have to get a hockey mask first, so I'll add some more custom bionicle thingys to make it up. Uploading them tomorrow, and also anyone know where to get a cheap hockey mask.
