Description on these cold and rainy days
heavy head stays glued to the bed
sweet smell of wet roses
essence dripping from the soft petals
shadows like waterfalls
flash steadily on the projector
opened glass door sways with grace
toes tingle from a swift glacier
the bed is the epic of an island
floating in wonder of it's other passenger
one empty pillow lays beside
awaiting to be filled in the warmth of love
frozen arms
hands bruised to the bone
fingers out of touch
these lips have turned to rotten cherries
come back and fill this empty pillow
come back and fill this empty heart
pour the glow
down that spiral
down

Raw emotion of saddness pours out of this piece. The constant referal to water works very well. Sometimes I feel like I am drowning in my saddness, or loneliness. I really like this poem.

aww i always get self conscious about my poetry, but i'm glad you like it. it helps me to continue in the poetry making process. yeah that one was very personal and sad.
