I made this for a hungarian selfie contest: www.kockart.hu/contests/szelfi…I used krita, really love that software nowadays.
The reference was myself, well, I had the push the dummy look for that. But it was fun to make it. 
This is also my opinion about most selfie pictures.

This is an incredibly powerful piece and it says A LOT about the way that society is so tied to their dumbphones...oops, I mean smartphones.
Becuase i am a dork and love to know the "behind the scenes" stuff; is there any particular meaning in the little tidbits of the piece? The tags label, the DD?
BTW: I think you gave a whole new meaning to the term "Let me take a selfie..." Great job on this piece

Thank you, it is a really great honour for me, if somebody has thoughts one of my works. 
Well, everything has a little meaning. For me many selfie picture of young girls is a... well, I don't know the right word for that, maybe I can say "meat market". They put themself behind the storefront and offer their meat. In Hungarian make sense, I don't know, could I express myself with this.

Personally, I consider it rude when there is company around and people have to be on their phone constantly. I know I'm not much better by being on my comp almost the entire time when I have company, though usually I'm doing homework that needs to get done.
