I don't want to play a game of hide-and-seek with this guy. I'll lose him.
Cuz he's a stealth plane.

I will for sure when I get the time! :> Nighthawks are such a pain to draw right but they look beautiful in the end.

Take your time. It's your artwork, and yes, I can see how hard it is to do all those angles >.<

Thanks so much for your patience! And yeah, I can usually only draw Nighthawks on Photoshop because it has a bit better of a brush setting than SAI does for all those straight angular lines. X>

I've never tried drawing an F-117 before.Β Most of my drawings are freehand and pencil so it'll take some time to get the angles and proportions down right

A ruler shall be your best friend for that! ForΒ fav.me/d8jjfe4 Β I used a mini ruler to get the sharp edges right. :>

Chad012 [2014-03-31 02:45:11 +0000 UTC]
so no teeth? does this mean she can only drink things or is it like a duck where they can eat certain things?
π: 0 β©: 1
ThunderArc In reply to Chad012 [2014-03-31 04:39:44 +0000 UTC]
Despite having no teeth, all living F-117s have razor sharp edges to their "beaks" so catching prey such as fish and birds and even some mammals is not a large problem for this breed of airplane.

Chad012 In reply to ThunderArc [2014-03-31 06:14:59 +0000 UTC]
So.....almost like a turtle's teeth composed of a razor sharp edging then?
π: 0 β©: 1
ThunderArc In reply to Chad012 [2014-03-31 14:46:20 +0000 UTC]
Yeah pretty much! If you can get close enough to a 117's mouth, (which I don't recommend) you can see the small but sharp serration of the edge of the beak.

Very nice, much sharp lines wow.
No teeth because of selective breeding ? yeah that makes sence, nice little touch.

ThunderArc In reply to dutchsteammachine [2013-12-08 18:36:32 +0000 UTC]
Thanks~!
My theory for living airplanes is that they are bred for certain requirements just like dogs are bred to a wide variety of shapes and sizes for different jobs.

dutchsteammachine In reply to ThunderArc [2013-12-08 19:29:56 +0000 UTC]
Ah makes sence, are planes captured in the wild first and then trained ?
π: 0 β©: 1
ThunderArc In reply to dutchsteammachine [2013-12-08 20:08:16 +0000 UTC]
Well, they all came from the really early planes like the Wright Flyer and the Bleriot, and were domesticated and then bred into many varieties over this century. So yeah they were wild at first (like wolves) and then domesticated and bred into all the planes we know today.
