Dedicated to Mibiam from Polish Howrse server!Here goes my monthly equine!
(I found quite a bunch of cute sleeping animals' photos while drawing
)It was a bit of hasty work, but there are few things that I think came out really nice (e.g. the ears).

I agree, thay don't usually sleep like this (they prefer to stretch their legs, sleeping on their side) and I practically couldn't find a straight pose reference. While I usually try to keep close to reality, this time I gave it up because of the Rule Of Cute XD
However I was quite surprised that while doing research I found a few photos of horses that are relatively close to this pose, e.g.: i.pinimg.com/736x/fb/80/02/fb8… - this one was bottle feed by humans and sometimes does sleep curled up.
