Again, I can't explain why I did this small watercolor. An acquaintance that I used to give rides to and from church, luncheons, and local concerts passed away not long before I did this painting. He was only 41 and had some disabilities brought on by a stroke when he was only 14. When I was unable to contact him about five days after I last saw him, I called the local police for a "wellness check". A half hour later, I received a call from a policewoman informing me that my acquaintance had "expired" from what appeared to be "natural causes". I was stunned by this news.
