The brush I used is 46 Spatter from the default PS brushes. The dragon has really long hair.

long hair to keep warm in the cold. good idea. and for braiding on special occasions ... of course. it looks like a chilly place, but reminds me of the hokkaido ice festival in japan.

Nice work. I love your colour treatment. I'd have loved to see just a hint of warm cast to that flame, though.

Ahhh you do such amazing things with that like, ultramarine / white palette.

ultramarine, is that what that is?

Hmm. The darkest parts are that sort of purplish blue that is ultramarine.

The lighter parts are a more green-blue, like phthalo maybe.

I need to try that brush sometime. It has a wonderful effect.

Nice to see the WIP versions of it too! They're always worth a study. This piece is completely gorgeous as well. I have such a soft spot for snowscapes. <3

I've never done a real one before. They're fun but I think I still need some help with the concept of ice.

Hm... the tops look like they're covered in snow which is fine. But the walls of the glacier do seem a little flat. You could try working with more contrasting blues like in these photos: [link] [link]

waw, nice night scenery and some original idea you have for the dragon (it doesn't have any horns or mustaches, but it has a really long hair).

Thank you! I like to think of the concept of dragon anatomy as fluid.. mine are usually long, thin and without the usual accouterments

It's like if My Little Ponies were dragons. Nifty lighting, although the buildings could probably be a little paler? To me, they don't look quite as far away as it seems it should be.

That's a good point. I was unsure of how to approach the aerial perspective in the dark.
