I can't possibly imagine how technical writing relates to art...nevertheless I can imagine it involves the overuse of the analytical mind...anathema to the artist

Indeed! It is a required class for graduating though. My minor is in writing even, but this class is sooooooooo structured!

Oh well this too shall pass & I suppose it might be useful to know what rules to break - I love to write but the rules/mind often interrupt the flow - have fun with it
