Pinkie's got a hug-o-meter. You know she does. It shows the location and intensity of any cuddling in Ponyville, with settings ranging from "brief hug" to "cuddlerific" to "extreme close cuddle - do not disturb".

This is one ship that I just do not get. Applejack hardly likes anypony from a city, let alone fall in love with them, and I don't think Blueblood would ever set hoof on farmland.

Probably something to the effect of "opposites attract", and these two could hardly get any more opposite without the universe throwing up its hands in surrender and folding back into itself. Some like to think she could straighten him out... or, failing that, kick him into shape.
Not exactly the best premise for a relationship, that's for sure. Then again, if we know anything about Applejack, it's that she a)likes a challenge and b)is too pigheaded to back out of a deal.
The part about her not liking most city ponies is interesting, by the way: She did like Babs, and she did seem to like the Oranges despite their lifestyle not suiting her, and two of her best friends are either from a big city or aspiring to be like that; she also gripes about hoity toity, frou-frou and what have you city folks quickly and often. How much of that is just talk? I wonder...
