Since my last two submissions where a little on the sad spectrum I decided to post a lighthearted moment and you can count this as a little early Mother's Day submission if you like to look at it that way. Kiara and her mother, Nala are out for a walk around the Pride Lands and in between Kiara's jaws was the newest member of King Simba's family. 1 Month Old Chiku was stumbling on her little legs after her mother and while she kept falling over or into both Nala and Kiara's MUCH BIGGER legs Kiara eventually picked up her tiny daughter by the scruff of her neck and as her jungle green eyes looked around and stared in wonder at her big home the animals both young and old queens encountered couldn't help but coo and aww at Chiku which she found strange but the one face that really scared poor Chiku was that of the dim-witted zebra leader, Thurston. Thurston wondered why the princess was mewling in fright all he wanted to do was make friends with the princess. Kiara did what she thought was best and turned away so Chiku didn't have to look at the big scary zebra. Queen Nala very kindly said it wasn't him it was just her granddaughter was very young and she scared very easily if you got too close to her face. But being a zebra neither Nala nor Kiara expected him to understand. Thurston ended up telling Nala that Chiku was being very impolite and needed to learn some manners. This earned an eye roll from Kiara as Nala just advised Kiara to ignore him as they made their way home where Kovu, Simba, and young Mukasa where waiting. She nodded and the two of them began to backtrack to Pride Rock in peaceful silence as Chiku slowly fell asleep under the motion of her mother's paws moving through the savannah.
