It was a partly cloudy day in the Pride Lands and every corner of the Pride Lands was unexpectedly quiet not even a bird single was heard singing as everyone was gathered near and around Pride Rock all the inhabitants were lined up to place flowers on and around the late king's body. As Uzani placed her flowers down next to her grandfather, the late king Simba she began to sob uncontrollably while her mother, Tiifu guided her off to the side where Kion opened his paw and Uzani curled up into the curve of his paw. Kiara placed a paw on top of her niece's shoulder before she stepped up once everyone had finish saying their own personal goodbyes to their king. Queen Kiara now stood before the body of her father while looking to her mother, Nala who nodded that she could do this and as a young queen that she was she took a deep breath to get everybody's attention.

Kiara: "Animals of the Pride Lands and friends who have traveled near and far to pay your respects to my father and our family today. Thank you for coming weather you travelled a short or long distance we all really appreciate your presence today."

She let the animals bellowed, whooped, roared, and twitted before she spoke up again.

Kiara: "When I became your queen a short time ago I promised I would be a fair ruler, a compassionate one you could turn to and release your troubles on and I still stand by those things from today and until my reign ends. My father taught me what being a ruler is all about and with his and my mother's guidance I plan to be the ruler my father had his hopes set for me and even more that he didn't expect. King Simba will be remembered for a lot of things from the very beginning he bested Scar in combat for the throne to being the best father both my brothers nor I could ask for and of course being the kind king to all of you throughout his reign. Now if anyone would like to step forward and share stories of my father you are more then welcome to share."

As Kiara and her family listened to each of the animals that Simba touched in a good way they all listened thoroughly and sometimes laughing and other times crying but Simba's funeral continued on straight into the night and when the moon had finally hit it's highest peak it was finally time to lay King Simba to rest and as Ma Tembo was given this respectful honor she lowered herself to the ground as Makini and Bunga did their best to straighten Simba out and once they where done the matriarch got back to her feet and began to wonder towards Simba's final resting place the royal family walking behind her standing tall but weren't afraid to show their emotions in front of the witnesses that still remained.
