Description Hi Everyone. Sorry for the delay in new submissions this month but I've been going through some big and major changes in my personal life and trying to take one day at a time with all the craziness that is going on within the world right now. As I'm probably not the only one but the starting year of the 2020 decade hasn't been my best so far. Let's hope 2021 will be the death of this pandemic and COVID-19 in its entirety and a much better year for us all. Anyway on with what is going on in this scene. Uzani is in the den of The Tree of Life visiting with Queen Rani and her newborn daughter, Shani. Shujaa is outside still unsure of what he thinks of his new half-sister just yet. Uzani is cooing on how cute her new sister is and tells her step-mother she is really cute. After awhile Rani asks Uzani yet if either she or her brother had seen their father yet since they had arrived. Uzani's smile slowly disappears as she sits down and slouches. She closes eyes for a moment as she says sadly yet with an annoying hint to her tone that neither she nor Shujaa has even bothered to find Kion because they were still angry with him even after all this time. Uzani goes into detail with Queen Rani that she and her brother still feel betrayal where their father is concerned because of how he ended things with their mother, Tiifu and she isn't sure how to talk to her dad. Rani listens to Uzani with careful interest as she looks at her step-daughter with sympathy and caring love in her brown eyes. She explains to Uzani that somewhere in Kion's heart he still loves her mother very much and some nights he would stand outside the tree staring at the stars. She goes on explaining he would often talk about his old home and he misses his family all very much. Rani even suggested if Kion wasn't happy here she would understand completely if he went back to be with Tiifu but Kion felt that his place was to remain with Rani and rule by her side while Vitani had permanently replaced him as the Lion Guard's new leader. Rani advises Uzani that she and Shujaa should talk with their father and set all differences aside and come together as a family united once more. Uzani smiles slightly and thanks Rani for the advice. She turns her back as she rolls her eyes annoyed that she wasn't ready to see him yet. But sooner or later she would have to come face to face with him and talk their issues out with one another.
