Chiku, Shujaa, and Uzani waited for the rest of the guard to show up they where talking about how excited they where for their assessment. Vitani would be watching from a fair distance away to see how the five young lion cubs would do as a team on their own out in the field with the training they had learned from their own respective mentors. As Chiku was giggling at a joke her cousin, Shujaa, was telling her and his sister, Uzani, when suddenly roaring from Hakuna Matata Falls could be heard.

Shujaa, and Uzani perked their heads up at once trying to figure out what the roaring and snarling about as Chiku turned around looking confused. "Isn't that, Mom? She sounds really angry." Shujaa looks at his sister with concern in his eyes. "I haven't heard that other roar in a long time, it sounds like… Uncle Kion!" Uzani didn't stick around for the conversation between her brother and cousin she hadn't seen her father in nearly over a year and she wanted to find out why her parents where fighting so she ran ignoring Chiku and Shujaa who where yelling for her to come back to Pride Rock.

When she arrived she heard the commotion now. "…WHAT DOES THIS "ROYAL LIONESS" HAVE THAT I DON'T WHAT, KION, WHAT?!" her mother was yelling at her father. Uzani stayed hidden as she listens to the conversation. "HER NAME IS RANI AND SHE'S VERY SPECIAL TO ME! SHE AND I HAVE SHARED COMMON INTRESTS FOR MONTHS I COULDN'T UP AND LEAVE WHEN HER FAMILY WAS IN TROUBLE! I HAD TO STAY WHAT WAS I SUPPOSED TO DO?!" Uzani couldn't belive her ears. Her father had fallen in love with another lionesses?" Her heart broke for her mother. She curled up in the bushes back to her parents as she continued to listen. "What's happened to you? You're not the Kion I knew before you left." Tiifu's voice cracked as Uzani had tears of her own rolling down her face. "I-I can't do this right now… I need to see my parents." As Kion's pawsteps began to fade she perked her ears up and stood up as she stood up and emerged from the bushes. "Mom…?" Tiifu's head perked in Uzani's direction. "Uzani…" They stood apart for a few moments before Uzani ran towards her mother and rubbed herself against Tiifu's legs. Tiifu sat down on all fours and with her two front paws she hugged Uzani close as mother and daughter comforted eachother.
