A somewhat expanded list of who I'd have as a team of Kaiju Z Fighters.

{Composite}Godzilla: King of the Monsters and most people's first choice for a team of Kaiju to defend the Earth

{Composite}Gamera: Godzilla's Box office Rival, he is the Guardian of the Universe and Friend to all Earth's Children. Considering the current population of the Earth is over 7 Billion, even a fraction of that is still a lot of kids to protect. Sadly he and Godzilla never actually shared the screen together due to disputes between their companies. But maybe, just maybe, in 2018, they'll finally have that epic crossover.

Anguirus: One of Godzilla's oldest allies and rivals Anguirus was a no brainer for me to put on the list. First appearing in "Godzilla raids again". He was the first Kaiju Godzilla ever fought. They're such good friends that Godzilla spared his life along with Rodan and King Caesar in "Final Wars".

{Composite} Rodan: Another no brainer Rodan was another sometimes friend, sometimes enemy of Godzilla who's been around almost as long as Big G himself. They first became allies to fight off Ghidorah with help from....

{Composite}Mothra: Yes the Goddess of Birth Island and yet another sometimes friend, sometimes enemy of Godzilla. These two have probably fought each other as many times as they've teamed up. Godzilla isn't good at making and keeping friends.

Zilla Jr.: My second favorite official Kaiju and third favorite over all Zilla Jr. is a faster version of the Showa Era Godzilla repackaged into the skin of the 1998 "Godzilla" design that would later be called just Zilla. Which is a shame since Zilla Jr. was way closer to the Japanese version than his father/mother ever was even after it was turned into a genetically enhanced cyborg in Monster Wars. Hell I'd watch a sequel to the 1998 "GODZILLA" if they used the characters and story writers from the TV Show.

King Caesar: First appearing in "Godzilla vs. Mecha-Godzilla" King Caesar, the monkey-dog statue thing is one of Godzilla's allies that didn't start as an enemy. The two only fought in "Final Wars" in a handicap fight which was a bit more like a soccer game. Japan is weird yet awesome at the same time.

Solomon: My first fan made Kaiju on the list, Solomon was Zachery's second unlocked monster in the Creepypasta "NES Godzilla" which tells of his experiences with a haunted/paranormal/demonically possessed copy of "Godzilla, Monster of Monsters" for the NES. Solomon is rememberable for both his incredible power, his awesome design and his catchphrase "Still the best, 1973". He also has history with story antagonist Red, history I hope CosbyDaf expands upon whenever he gets back to "Godzilla Replay".

Jet Jaguar: This Ultraman knockoff was actually created for a contest in 1972 by a fan. Making him the second fan made Kaiju on the list and the only one to be made canon. First appearing in "Godzilla vs. Megalon" he's had a number of appearances over the decades, including as a secret boss in the PS4 version of "Godzilla: The Game". A fight which ends in the two shaking hands, just like in the movie he first appeared.

Gorosaurus: Another old and a bit more obscure Kaiju, Gorosaurus is an oversized Allosaurus. In terms of physical strength it's said he's a match for even Godzilla himself. Unfortunately he is rather lacking in the ranged attack department. However he an jump up and kick an enemy with both his legs like a kangaroo. Not surprisingly the move is frequently called the "Kangaroo Kick".

Varan: Another obscure Kaiju Varan first appeared in "Varan the Unbelievable" and has had very few appearances over the years. He can glide using membranes underneath his arms, much like a flying squirrel. His last film appearance was "Destroy all Monsters" but he has shown up in games like "Godzilla Unleashed" and had a cameo in "Godzilla: The Game" in the Kaiju guide.

Acacius: The final fan made monster on the list, this was the monster that finally slew Red in the creepypasta "NES Godzilla" after all the other monsters were killed and Zacks dead girlfriend Melissa used the last of her energy to unlock him after Red locked him away. He is the strongest monster in the game but even then Zack barely defeated Red. With Red defeated Melissa was able to revive the other monsters. Awesome design.

Mothra Leo: The son of Mothra herself, Mothra Leo has enjoyed his own series of movies. Much like his mother, Leo is a powerful Kaiju in his own right and has multiple alternate forms. He stared in the "Rebirth of Mothra" Trilogy and was in the "Godzilla Island" TV show. He is an awesome Kaiju.

Kiryu: Last but certainly not least, Kiryu is the third Mecha-Godzilla and the second one made on Earth, appearing in "Godzilla against Mecha-Godzilla" and "Godzilla SOS Tokyo". Unlike the previous two Kiryu was built from the bones of the original Godzilla that attacked in 1954. Under his wires and armor he has he used cloned DNA from the bones which was inserted into the quasi-organic computer controls, intended to take over subconscious motor control functions for the crew. However the spirit of the original Godzilla was inside the mech and when he first fought the King of the Monsters he went crazy and attacked the city. Although he was able to defeat Godzilla later with help from the twin Mothras it was the fact they used the first Godzilla's bones that had caused nature to become imbalanced and Kiryu went back out to sea carrying Godzilla restoring peace and balance.
